Chocolate:

This food is brought to your attention with an even heavier heart. For many years scientists believed that chocolate just got a bad rep and wasn’t actually linked to causing acne. However, in recent studies, chocolate has been found in triggering acne breakouts. And to quote Luke Skywalker…

  1. Hey Betsey – This is the first simple and short article I have seen in your site, pretty useful and more informative. chocolate 🍫 is the highlight here as many people are not aware that this can be a problem for the skin. What are all the foods that we can have for good skin or for not getting the acne? I heard tomato soup/juice is a good one for acne problems but not sure and would like to get a view from your expertise? Have a great week, cheers Mana.

    1. Hey Mana,
As always, so great to hear from you and thanks for dropping by! 🙂
Chocolate is definitely a hard one for me; if I could just add it as a food group I would. Remember that anything is okay, as long as, it is in moderation. Dark chocolate is also much better for you than milk chocolate.
And I actually have a whole article dedicated to foods that are good for acne. You can check that out here.
